2 tsp. salt
1 c. margarine
3 pkg. yeast
6 eggs
1-1/2 c. scalded milk

Nut filling:
10 oz. shelled walnuts per 2 rolls (2-1/2 to 3 cups ground)
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. sugar
Mix and add water to make spreadable.

Scald milk and set 1/2 cup aside to cool. After milk is COOL, add yeast. Mix dry ingredients. Add other ingredients. Add yeast mixture last.

Note: It doesn't hurt to throw in extra eggs and sour cream.

Cover with towel and let rise on top of stove.

Put a lot of flour on counter. Dump mixture on flour & kneed until less soupy.

Divide dough into 6 sections and let rise again.

After rising take each individual section and knead and roll out in generous amount of flour. Spread nut mixture and form into 12" rolls.

Let rise again before baking! Baste with two beaten eggs and bake.
