2 cups brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp soda dissolved in a little warm water
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
½ cup nuts
3 ¼ cup flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add other ingredients and mix well. Shape in log rolls, wrap in wax paper, and chill in refrigerator several hours.
