3/4 cup sugar
16 ounces canned sliced peaches
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup quick cooking oats
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Drain peaches and cut into small pieces. In a large bowl, stir together sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in oats and peaches - mix to coat. Stir together eggs, milk and oil. Add to flour mixture and stir to moisten. Fill greased muffingtins 3/4 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Turn onto rack.
