4 pounds round steak, 1 1/2" thick
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
2/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup salad oil
2 teaspoons monosodium glutamate
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 green onions tops, sliced

1. Score fat edges of meat. Place in shallow dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over steak. Let stand 3 hours at room temperature or 6 hours in refrigerator, turning steak several times. Remove steak from marinade. Remove excess moisture with paper towels. Cook over hot coals 15 minutes on each side, brushing occasionally with marinade mixture.

2. Carve across grain.
