20 oz. frozen peas
3 T. butter
2 tsp. onion, chopped
5 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
1 c. lettuce, shredded
1 t. four
1/4 c. liquid from cooked peas
1 t. salt
pinch of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook peas as directed on package. Drain, reserving 1/4 c. liquid. Melt butter; add onion and water chestnuts. Cook 5 minutes. Add lettuce and cook until lettuce wilts. Stir in flour and slowly add the liquid. Cook 5 minutes. Add peas, salt, and sugar. Heat thoroughly.
