1 c. butter (softened)
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tarter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and powdered sugar. Add egg. Add vanilla and almond extract. Blend in flour. Sprinkle in baking soda and cream of tarter. Mix well.

Cover and chill for a couple of hours. Roll out about 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake on cookie sheet for 7-8 minutes at 375.

This is my FAVORITE cookie recipe. The almond extract makes the cookies YUMMY! They also freeze well. Use the Icing for Deluxe Cookies to make them perfect!!!
