4 oz stearic acid
1/2 oz paraffin
12 oz glycerine
1/2 oz strong ammonia
1/2 tsp borax
16 oz. warm distilled water

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve in double boiler until clear the stearic acid, paraffin, and glycerine. Add ammonia and beat until milky. Dissolve borax (not "Mule Team") in 16 oz. warm distilled water. Add water mixture last, remove from heat and beat until thick. Add coloring and perfume if desired. All ingredients needed can be purchased at a drug store.
