1 lb. ground beef or turkey, 1 c. chopped onions, 8 oz. cooked noodles, 10 oz. frozen peas-thawed, 1 can (12 oz.) corn-drained, 1 can (8 oz) mushrooms-drained, 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and diced, 1 can (10 3/4 oz. cream of celery soup, 1 1/4 c. milk, 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

Preheat oven to 350º. In large skillet, over medium heat, cook ground meat and onions until meat is browned and onions are tender. Spoon off drippings - discard. Spoon into 4 qt. casserole. Add next 5 ingredients and toss well. Set aside.
In medium saucepan, heat soup and remaining ingredients, except cheese, until bubble, stirring occasionally. Stir in 3 cups of cheese and heat. (Reserve 1 cup for top) stirring with wire whisk until cheese is melted. Pour over meat nd vegetable mixture and stir until well mixed.
Cover with foil and bake about 40 min. Remove and sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Continue cooking 5 more minutes.
