12 slices bread, crusts removed
1/2 pound grated cheddar cheese
and buttered on both sides
1 4-ounce can chopped green
1 pound ham, cubed (or cooked
chilies
bacon or sausage)
6 eggs
1/2 pound grated jack cheese
3 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a 9"x13" baking dish, layer 1/2 bread, 1/2 meat, 1/2 cheeses, and 1/2 chilies; repeat. Beat the eggs and milk together and pour over the bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350º for 45 minutes.
