1 head red cabbage
3/4 cup boiling water
3 lg pared, cored, sliced cooking apples
3 Tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 1/2 tsp flour
2 tsp salt
speck pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cabbage by finely shredding it and chopping into bite size pieces. Put in a large pot and add 1 cup of water. Cover and cook on medium heat for about 15 mins. Add apples and cook until tender. Meanwhile, place remaining ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat. Add sauce to cabbage and heat.
