SAUCE:
1 large onion, chopped fine,
2 T. minced garlic,
1 T. Olive oil,
2 large cans tomato sauce,
Red pepper,salt,& sugar to taste,
PESTO:
1 bunch fresh spinach leaves,
1 c. fresh basil,
1/2 c. parmesan,
Garlic to taste (lots),
Red pepper, dash salt,
Olive oil,
Grated mozarella cheese,
Bought crust (Pillsbury Refrigerator)

Directions:
Directions:
SAUCE:
Saute onion, garlic in olive oil until tender.
Add tomato sauce, red pepper,salt & sugar to taste. Simmer 1 hour.
Also add: 1 T. each of basil & oregano.
PESTO:
In processor, put spinach, basil, garlic (lots),red pepper, dash salt, parmesan, add olive oil while processing.
LAYER:
Crust
Lots of pesto
Tomato sauce
Lots of grated mozarella cheese
Bake @ 400º on lower shelf
