Snickerdoodles Recipe

1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
1 stick REAL butter (note: it is important to use REAL butter)
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 C flour
2 tsp cream tartar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda

Mix ingredients together. Dough will seem stiff. Let stand for a few minutes and make into balls.

2 TBSP sugar
2 tsp cinammon

Mix cinammon and sugar together. Roll dough balls into cinammon sugar mixture and place on cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for approx 10 minutes.
