Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef ("Chuck is good," according to Mom)
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground veal
1 envelope Lipton Onion soup mix.
1 egg
A Loaf Pan
OPTIONAL:
Ketchup, steak sauce, Bar-B-Que Sauce or A-1

Directions:
Directions:
Mix them all together with your hands. I use my Kitchen Aid mixer too. Put in loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until done. I suggest you pour off some of the grease after about 20 minutes, but you don't have to do so. Mom says, "Top may be brushed with steak sauce, ketchup or A-1 sauce." I think that's a good idea. Since I like a spicy meatloaf I add a good glop of the sauce or ketchup into the mix.

Personal Notes:
Hand-written by Mom, 1983, but it's right off the box. Everyone should have a box of Lipton's Onion Soup in their pantry, it's great for last minute stuff and added to sour cream, still makes the best chip dip!
