1/2 pound butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.

2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg. Sift together flour, baking powder. Stir into creamed mixture. Add milk, vanilla and almond extract. Stir in nuts.

3. Chill 1 to 2 hours. Roll out to 1/8" thick. Cut into desired shapes. Put on ungreased cookie sheets.

4. Bake at 375 degrees 8 to 10 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
