1/2-1 head of lettuce, washed, shredded and thoroughly dried
1/4 cup olive oil, hot
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 TB sugar, as needed
1 red onion, chopped (to garnish)

Directions:
Directions:
"Wilt" the lettuce with the hot oil in a large metal bowl.
(CAUTION: DEALING WITH OIL IS VERY DANGEROUS. MAKE SURE LETTUCE IS DRY AND ROOM-TEMPERATURE TO AVOID SPLATTERS.)
Add vinegar.

Add sugar as needed to offset acidity.

Garnish with onion, chill and serve.

Delicious!
