1/2 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 t. baking soda
2 t. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
4 cups apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Then add dry ingredients and beat. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour in 10 x 13 pan and bake at 350º for about 40 minutes.
