2 cups tomatillos husked and quartered
1-2 tablespoons green Tabasco sauce
1/2 cup coarsely chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 large avocado, peeled and diced
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 mango, peeled and diced (optional)

Combine all ingredients except avocado and mango in a food processor. Pulse chop to keep somewhat chunky. Stir in avocado and mango pieces. Serve with chips.

This is delicious on tacos and enchiladas. Because tomatillos are very citrusy, this is delicious on fish tacos as well. If you don't like a lot of heat, add the Tabasco a teaspoon at a time until you get the heat you like. My husband got this from a Sunset magazine, I added the mango.
