1 lb candy orange slices
1 8oz pkg dates
2 cups chopped nuts
3 1/2oz coconut
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk

Glaze:
1 small can frozen undiluted orange juice
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Chop candy slices and dates into small pieces.
Coat orange slices, dates, nuts and coconut with 1/2 cup flour and set aside.
Cream margarine or butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at time, mixing well after each addition. Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Alternately add remaining 3 cups flour and milk to creamed mixture.
Fold candy nut mixture into batter.
Bake at 275 for 30-45 minutes.
Mix the orange juice and powdered sugar and pour over hot cake. Let stand until glaze is soaked in
