1 c. brown sugar
2 sticks oleo
1/2 c. dark or light syrup
1 t. salt
Cook this mixture for 5 minutes in a sauce pan.

Add 1 t. soda and pour over 7 1/2 quarts or more popcorn. Put in 200º oven for 1 hour and stir every 15 minutes.
