1 lb. hamburger
1 c. chopped celery
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
1 28 oz. can red kidney beans, drained
1 28 oz. can recipe ready chopped tomatoes, undrained
1 T. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic salt or garlic powder
2 tsp. beef bouillon base or 2 cubes beef bouillon

In a large saucepan brown the hamburger. Drain the fat and transfer hamburger to a large soup pot. In the same saucepan sauté the onion, celery, and bell pepper until onions are transparent. Add the vegetables and all other ingredients to the large soup pot. Simmer 5-6 hours, stirring occasionally.
