4 Large Potatoes 4 Large Yellow Onions 1 Cup Salt 1 Stick Butter 1 to 2 pounds of fresh ( not frozen ) fish cut into 1 inch cubes.
Add cup salt to 5 qrts. water in large stock pot add potatoes and onions cook until fork easily goes into potatoes and remove. Cook fish in water until white and flakey. Serve with melted butter to dip in.
