1 stick butter
3/4 c. flour, all-purpose
Dash of salt
2 c. sugar, divided
2 c. sliced peaches or fruit of choice. Can used fresh or canned
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix fruit with 1 cup sugar. Let stand. Melt butter in casserole dish you will use for cobbler. Blend remaining ingredients, except fruit, and 1 c. sugar. Pour over melted butter. DO NOT STIR! Pour peaches on top of mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 350º or until crust is brown. The crust will rise above fruit during baking.
