1lb lean ground beef
2 onions chopped
2 c cubed potatoes
1 clove garlic, minced
3 carrots diced
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp parsley
1 1/2 quart water
3/4 c chopped celery
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp sugar
3 1/2 tsp salt
2 c canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 c rice or barley
2 tbsp chopped green pepper

In large pot, brown beef, onions and celery. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and slowly cook, covered. Cook for 2 hours
