3 egg whites
1/2 tsp.cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
12 saltine crackers, rolled into fine meal
2 tsp. vanilla
Whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the egg whites with cream of tartar as for meringue. Add the nuts, crackers and vanilla. Put in greased pie pan and build up the sides as a crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool in pan. Fill with whipped topping. Best when refrigerated overnight.
