Apple Cake Recipe

1 1/2 c oil
3 eggs
2 c sugar
2 t vanilla
3 c flour
1 t salt
1 t baking soda
1 c chopped pecans
3 c chopped apples

1 stick butter
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c milk

Mix oil, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Then dry ingredients. Add oil mixture and blend well. Add pecans and apples. Pour into a greased tube pan.

For topping, cook over medium heat, then 3 minutes on low heat. Pour over hot cake in its pan. Let stand until cool.
