1 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp salt
I cup shortening, butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Cream together shortening and sugars
Add eggs and vanilla, beat until light and fluffy
Stir in dry ingredients
Spead batter evenly in a greased 9 in square pan
Bake for 40 min at 350 degrees
When cool frost with a white icing.
