1 cup white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 cups shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tblsp. molasses
3 cups flour
4 cups rolled oats (must be old fashioned)
Raisins, choc. chips, nuts, coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except flour and rolled oats with electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add flour and rolled oats. Stir with spoon until mixed

Add one cup of each: raisins, choc. chips, nuts, and coconut or as desired.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 5 to 6 dozen
