1 C Butter/margarine
¾ C Packed brown sugar
¼ C White sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 ½ C All-purpose flour
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking soda
¼ C Boiling water
2 C Quick oats
1 ½ C Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C Rice Krispies

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and salt. Mix well.

Dissolve baking soda in boiling water. Add to mixture. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and Rice Krispies.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Don’t overcook!

**Note: There are no eggs in this recipe.**
