2 C Flour
½ tsp Baking soda
1 C Sugar
1 Egg
5 TBSP Milk
1 tsp Baking powder ½ tsp Salt
½ C Margarine
1 C Mashed bananas (Browning bananas work best!)
½ C Walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream sugar & margarine. Beat the egg slightly& add to mixture. Add bananas. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and add to creamed mixture until just combined. Stir in milk & nuts. Spread batter into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for about an hour – until top is browned & cracking & a butter knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
