6 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups butter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar

Date Mixture:

1 pound chopped dates
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cookie dough and chill for 1 hour. Roll out dough on floured surface. Cook the dates, sugar and water until sauce. Add additional water if the sauce gets to thick. Drop 1 tsp. dates in the middle of each cookie. Fold over dough and place on cookie sheet. Bake @375 for 6 - 8 minutes on greased baking sheet.
