1 teaspoon salt, to taste
creamy peanut butter
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1 lemon, juice only
1 can garbanzo beans
1-1 1/2 cloves garlic
1/2 can (empty bean can) of water,
1 teaspoon cumin, to taste
to adjust consistency

Directions:
Directions:
Throw everything in the food processor or blender except the garbanzo beans; blend. Then add the drained garbanzo beans and the 1/4 to 1/2 can of water. Blend until smooth, taste and adjust as needed. Eat on toasted pita bread cut into triangles, crackers, or use as a veggie dip.

Hummus is a bean dip eaten in many Middle Eastern countries. Tahini paste is ground sesame seeds and can be found in health food stores. Hummus can also be flavored with green olives, roasted red peppers, roasted eggplant, etc.
