1 tbsp margarine or butter
1 tbsp. flour
⅛ tsp salt
dash pepper
⅔ c. milk

Microwave directions:
In 2 c. measuring cup, microwave margarine or butter on high for 30-40 seconds or till melted. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once and stir. Cook, uncovered on high for 2-4 minutes or till thickened and bubbly, stirring every 30 seconds. *Cheese sauce - omit salt, add ¾ c. shredded cheese to cooked sauce
