1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed banannas
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, butter, eggs and banannas, Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill about one hour.

Heat oven 375. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful about 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
