2 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1 c. canned pumpkin
1 c. Crisco
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add pumpkin, vanilla and egg. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into batter. Stir in nuts. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Cool before icing.
