Cake:
1 stick butter
1 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon

Topping:
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º.

Cake:
Pour water over oats and butter. Let stand 20 minutes. Mix sugars and eggs. Add mixture to oats. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture. Pour into 9 x 13 baking dish and bake 30 -35 minutes.

Topping:
Mix together butter, milk, coconut and pecans. Spread on cake. Return cake to oven till topping is bubbly.
