Cream together:
1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Add:
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Chill 1 hour. Roll into 1/2 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes. Do not let them brown.
Roll in powdered sugar while hot. Cool and roll again.

These are also called Mexican Wedding Cakes. If you prefer you can use almonds instead of walnuts, or pecans. This was always my favorite Christmas cookie. Pure fat!!
