1 small head white cabbage
2 tbl. unsalted butter
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the cabbage in half, and with the cut side down, slice it as thinnly as possible. Discard the core.
Melt the butter, add the cabbage, salt and pepper and saute 10- 15 minutes stirring occasionally till cabbage is tender and beginning to brown.
Season with a spice of your choice.
