3 c flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
4 large eggs
2/3 c brown sugar
1 c canned pumpkin
1 1/4 c milk
1/2 c molasses
1/2 c melted butter
Syrup, whipped cream or fruit for topping

Preheat waffle iron.

In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, spices and salt. In a medium bowl, beat eggs and brown sugar until fluffly, then beat in pumpkin, milk, molasses and melted butter. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry until just moist. Do not overmix. Cook waffles according to your waffle iron. Serve with topping of choice.
