1 box of Martha White Hushpuppy Mix 1 small onion, chopped fine 1 large jalapeno pepper, chopped fine 1 pkg. Splenda 3/4 c. buttermilk
Mix all ingredients. Drop teaspoons of batter into hot cooking oil that is deep enough for the batter to roll over once one side is cooked. You may have to help them turn over. Cook until both sides are brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
