"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom loved these pickles and would eat them with a slice of bread in the evening as a TV snack. I still grow cucumbers and onions in the garden for the purpose of making these pickles. Unlike Mom, I eat an entire quart every time I open a jar. This is a great way to use up cucumbers that have really grown too big for any other purpose.
