Drippings from any meat cooked in the oven. Usually a pot roast. Usually there is enough 1/4 cup, if not add some beef bouillon.

Use the same pan you cooked the roast in.Use the drippings from the same pan you cooked the meat in, add water preferably potato water you boiled the potatoes in, stir. About 2 cups more or less. Mix in a shaker 1/4 cup flour and 1 cup of water till smooth, very important. Add slowly the flour paste to the potato water and drippings, stir all the time cook till thick about 2 -5 min. Add salt and pepper to taste.
