4 Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
1 1/4 C sugar, 1 egg, 1 stick butter
4 slices white bread (thick sliced)

Directions:
Directions:
Layer apples on bottom of 8"x 8" dish, sprinkle cinnamon on top. Mix sugar and egg and spread over apples; cut white bread into finger strips and lay over sugar and eggs. Melt stick of butter and pour over bread. Bake 45 minutes at 350º.
