1 baked 9" pie shell
1 qt hulled strawberries
3 T cornstarch
1 c sugar
2 T lemon juice
1/2 c heavy cream, whipped
Directions:
Directions:
Crush half of the berries. Stir in cornstarch, sugar and lemon juice. Cook over moderate heat, stirring until clear and thick. Cool. Cut the remaining berries in half and fold into the cooked berry mixture; pour into baked crust. Chill well. Spread with whipped cream when serving.
