Ingredients: 1 cup butter or margarine (I use butter) 1/2 cup milk 2 cups sugar 1 cup nuts, either added to the batter or sprinkled on top of batter 1/2 cup cocoa, add 1/2 cup boiling water to form a smooth paste 4 eggs ( you can use 2 and have chewier brownie) 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:Cream sugar and butter or margarine, add cocoa mixture and eggs. Add flour and milk alternately. Fold in nuts. Spread on cookie sheet or baking pan, depending on how thick you want the brownies. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and frost.
FROSTING FOR BROWNIES 1/2 cube margarine or butter, melted 4 tablespoons cocoa 2 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup kayro syrup Mix all together, with a tiny bit of hot water to form a smooth frosting. This will be like fudge. Yum Yum Spread on brownies quickly and sprinkle with chopped nuts. |
