1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups corn meal
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Add well beaten egg and milk. Mix quickly. With dampened hands, shape in " golf ball" size and fry quickly in hot oil. May add finely minced onions or jalapeņo peppers.
