3 to 4 pounds cooked leftover beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic
1 tsp chili powder
can add catsup and brown sugar, if desired

Directions:

Chop beef and add all ingredients. Simmer in large heavy pan or electric skillet for 3 to 4 hours. Stir often as it sticks easily.

Serve on hamburger buns.

This sure beats the pre-made stuff you can buy in the grocery store. However, how often do you find yourself with 3 to 4 pounds of "leftover" beef as specified in the recipe?
