"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
Each Saturday night Mike would begin in the late afternoon preparing the grill for the evening cookout. It was a party. Family, friends, and neighbors were guests with no invitations necessary. Pauline made black beans or yucca, and watercress salad as sides. Mike so enjoyed his afternoon and evening of scotch and socializing and the food was so tasty. A simple yet delicious take on barbecuing.
