1 corned beef brisket
2 cans of beer
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 onion
1 tsp pepper corns
Carrots (peeled)
Cabbage
Potatoes (peeled)

Directions:
Directions:
Place corned beef in a large deep soup pot. Cover with cold water. Bring slowly to a boil. Remove corned beef, and toss out the old water. Next add 2 cans beer, bay leaf, brown sugar, onion and pepper corns. Put corned beef back in pot and cover with water again. Simmer for 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Approximately 45 minutes before it is ready, add carrots, cabbage and potatoes. Enjoy!
