1 T unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 cup vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 t celery seed
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1 cup salad oil
6 - 8 cups shredded cabbage
2 carrots, shredded
1 onion, grated
2 green peppers, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine gelatin and water and let stand to soften. Heat vinegar and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add seasonings and stir in softened gelatin. Let cool to thickness of cream. Beat in salad oil.

Combine vegetables and toss with enough dressing to moisten. Refrigerate 24 hours.
