1 cup butter (2 sticks) 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar, packed Cream above together Add 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla Beat again 2 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder Add to mixture 2 1/2 cups oatmeal 1 cup rasins
Stir in oatmeal and rasins Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheets
Bake @350º for 10-12 minutes until very light (hardly brown)
